History

CopyPro, based in Greenville, North Carolina, was founded in 1971 and is owned by Ed Murphrey and David Jones. This partnership created a synergistic team that allowed for the mutual vision of growing the business throughout eastern North Carolina to be realized.

CopyPro moved into our current corporate offices on Landmark Street in Greenville, North Carolina, in 1983. Since then we’ve seen continued growth and success and, with major expansions of our offices and warehouse, we currently have 22,300 square feet of space.

In 1988, we opened an office in Wilmington, North Carolina which expanded our territory to include Bladen, Brunswick, Columbia, New Hanover, and Pender counties.

Over the years great emphasis has been put on hiring and training professional sales and service people. CopyPro has continued to be recognized by our vendors for outstanding performance and significant success with awards dating back to the 1980’s.

We’ve been recognized as the “Market Place of the Year” by Savin and an “Elite Dealer” by Office Dealer Association. CopyPro was named a top seller of solutions for Konica Minolta; Southeast Regional Dealer of the Year with Minolta; received Konica Minolta’s Honor Council Award for outstanding sales; and, for 21 consecutive years, we’ve received the Konica Minolta “ProTech Service Provider Award.”

As the market continues to evolve, so have the services that CopyPro offers to our customers. We are a total network solutions provider with a suite of software and hardware solutions. With the advent of the networked “Multifunctional Device,” and document management software, the CopyPro team now operates in a world of continuous education and skills upgrading. By doing so we remain capable of providing award-winning, world-class customer service that has become our hallmark.
