At CopyPro, we recognize that giving back to the communities in which we earn our living is not only important, but incumbent upon the business community as a whole. We take immense pride in being a good corporate citizen. While the list below is not all-inclusive, it indicates the degree of commitment we have to the communities we serve. Our employees volunteer in capacities such as sitting on local boards, Crime Stoppers, serving as volunteer fire fighters, and many others in their spare time. There are few, if any, businesses that share this level and degree of community involvement in eastern North Carolina. The following are several of the community events and organizations we support:
- Chamber of Commerce (in each county that we serve)
- American Cancer Society – through direct contributions or Relay for Life events
- Children’s Miracle Network
- Habitat for Humanity
- American Red Cross
- Employee funded drives for support to hurricane victims
- Foster Christmas – program that we developed at CopyPro, funded by employee contributions and matched by CopyPro, provides Christmas presents to approximately 60 foster children throughout Pitt and New Hanover Counties (where our offices are located)
- East Carolina University
- Pitt Community College
- Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers
- Sponsorship of various Little League teams
- Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain
- Give 2 the Troops – donated the use, free of charge, of a 12,000 square foot building with utilities and phone in support of our American men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan
In 2019 we started PROject PROvide. This program creates community engagement opportunities for employees that are meaningful, purposeful and helps those in need. At the same time, CopyPro, Inc. recognizes that participating in these activities will also enrich and inspire the lives of our employees. Employees can volunteer with a nonprofit and will be paid at their normal rate for up to 12 hours a year. Learn more about PROject PROvide.
